My name is Anh Tran. I am an international student from Vietnam. At the time of this testimony, I am a senior at Sheridan Academy. I have been to Boise since the beginning of the year. I remember when I got to Boise; I saw Amy and Greg were at the airport waiting for me. Greg was holding the sign that says: “Welcome Ahn.” Greg spelt my name wrong. I like to tease him about it sometimes, just for fun though. I have learned so much sine I started school at Sheridan. I did not have to do Literature in a big, thick book. Instead, I read three other books that I have really enjoyed and understood. In addition, I found the US Government class very uninteresting because I learned so much about America, the Constitution, and a lot more. At Sheridan, I was not only learning knowledge in books but also knowledge about life and the world. The best think about Sheridan is that I always got help when I needed it. The teachers are very good and professional. They helped me so much this year in order for me to achieve much knowledge and moreover, I achieved my goal: getting to college. I think Sheridan is a great school where students can learn much, work hard, but also have fun. What I have learned this year can be used in college and even later in life. I will never forget this eventful year studying at Sheridan Academy.
