I started Sheridan Academy because I firmly believe all students can learn. Yet, not all students learn in the same way. That’s why a student who is failing or not performing to potential in one environment can perform significantly better in another environment adapted to his or her learning style. Each student has specific traits which allow him or her to succeed. It is our goal at Sheridan Academy to address each student as an individual with specific goals to achieve and contributions to make to the Sheridan Academy community. Greg Norton School Director
Sheridan Academy strives to have each student demonstrate the following: Dependability- can be counted on in attendance and job assignments Accepts responsibility for self/actions- self motivated; able to accept mistakes without blaming others Honesty and integrity- is principled, sincere and genuine; actions match words Flexibility and adaptability- able to handle change; willing to take on any assignment Strong work ethic- willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done well Enthusiastic and positive- able to leave personal problems at home and contribute to a pleasant work environment Continuous learner- willing and able to gain new knowledge and learn new skills Resilience and perseverance- able to overcome adversity and stay focused Attention to detail- inspect own work, follows through with all details of job assignments |
